A NEW LINE-UP! ... (1977)
Drummer Tom Kelly was critically injured when struck head-on by a drunk driver on Rt. 17 in Middletown, NY.
He and soundman Artie Peloso were last in a line of four vehicles following the band truck back to the hotel.
(hmmm... must've been a party bout ta happen!). None of us saw or heard the accident! The State Police called the hotel hours later notifying us of the tragedy!
(Whew!)... we thought they were calling because they wanted us to..."come out with our hands up"!
Although he survived the accident, it would be almost two years before Tommy would play again! He was replaced by Kevin Newton.

MUSICAL CHAIRS? ... (1978)
Bassist / Cellist, Dorian Rudnytsky joins the line-up and is reunited with former band mate Clif Nivison both formerly of "The New York Rock Ensemble". Bass player Mario Casella, who started playing in bands with Kim Jenkins in East Orange, NJ in the 6th grade, left the group shortly after a fire in a club called 'The Illusion' (Annville, PA) that completely destroyed the building and all of the bands equipment! Guitarist Tony DiMarco replaced guitar player Ed McCabe, and drummer Gary Deren picked up the beat from out going drummer Kevin Newton!

KIM DAVID and BORZOI ... (1985) KIM DAVID steps out front and releases the bands first single, featuring a new band, a new look, and two female back-up singers. (No...that's not them!) The single, "Pennsylvania Girl" made its debut on Philly's top Pop Music TV showcase 'Dancin On Air', thanks to a push from Mike Vagnoni's 'Out On The Town' entertainment magazine!

RE-UNION ... 2002! Clif Nivison, Tommy Swift, Walter Black, Kim Jenkins Mario Casella & Kevin Newton. It was amazing that after 25 years we were all not only 'still alive & well', but were all successful, relatively normal, and had 'taught our children well'. The other amazing thing was that so many people whose lives had been brought together through this band, had now 'come together' so many years later and made our lives so much more... .....sniff.. sniff..... THANKS PEOPLE!... (...but we're still not playing "FREE BIRD" again!)
